GENERAL (AND SPONSORED/NOMINATED) SKILLED assessment would normally be appropriate for those persons with a professional, management or trade qualification or background in the general capacity of paid employees or persons in occupations on the Skilled Occupation List (SOL) You may wish to look at the “Skills’ page to access the SOL and other skilled visa related information. These visas are permanent and are available in independent, family or employer sponsored or skill matching categories.

2.FAMILY AND OTHER VISAS assessment (including Temporary visas) is for persons with direct family members (e.g. partner, child or parent) or other specified relatives living in in Australia as Australian citizens or permanent residents, wishing to join these relatives in Australia. An Assurance of Support (AoS) may be required. A list of temporary visas is also included in this assessment.
