1. GENERAL SKILLED assessment would normally be appropriate for those persons with a professional, management or trade qualification or background in the general capacity of paid employees or persons in occupations on the Skilled Occupation List (SOL) You may wish to look at the “Skills’ page to access the SOL and other skilled visa related information. These visas are permanent and are available in independent, family or employer sponsored or skill matching categories.
2. BUSINESS SKILLS assessment would on the other hand be appropriate for those persons with a business ownership, senior management or (entrepreneurial /investment) background or alternatively exceptional talent. These visas are provisional for 4 years, and are available in independent and State government and territory sponsored categories. Application may thereafter be made for residence (permanent) visas.

3. FAMILY AND OTHER VISAS assessment (including Temporary visas) is for persons with direct family members (e.g. partner, child or parent) or other specified relatives living in in Australia as Australian citizens or permanent residents, wishing to join these relatives in Australia. An Assurance of Support (AoS) may be required. A list of temporary visas is also included in this assessment. Should you wish information relating to any of these visas, please indicate your preference.
